JOHN LOCKE ('89) is a GIS instructor at Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro, Georgia.
JEFF LAHR ('88) works for Coles County Regional Planning in East-Central Illinois. He and his wife, Melissa, have three children and one grandchild. He is a City Councilman in Charleston.
JOHN BISSELL ('88) I am now a principal at Higa Burkholder Associates, a Land Use Planning and Engineering Firm with offices in Everett , Washington and Springfield Oregon . We work on diverse projects from municipal project review and comprehensive planning and to private commercial and residential developments. John spoke at the April 06 Geography Career Day at Humboldt.
JOHN GODDARD ('86) works in Global Communications & PR for DHL IT Services Europe and is living in the Czech Republic.

the Superintendent of the National Park American Samoa.

SLATER ('84) We enjoyed reading the newsletter online and
hearing about our classmates and the wonderful professors from HSU.
Dave still tours the world in his little yellow submarine and in the
off season he is found at the University of Arizona working towards
his high school counseling degree. I work for First Magnus Financial
as the VP in charge of Operations for one of their new subsidiary
companies. Dave and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary
this year and hope to someday bring our 3 children to meet Joe Leeper
before he retires. We settled in Tucson 12 years ago, after living
in Santa Barbara and Seattle. Together we hike nearby Sabino Canyon
and the surrounding Catalina Mountains. Needless to say we enjoy Wildcat
Basketball!
NANCY BROWN DANZIG ('84) oversees planning
and environmental work for the US Dept of Transportation in New York
City.
MARK WHEETLEY ('84) works for the California Department of Fish and Game and serves on the Arcata City Council.
TOM WATSON ('84) is currently working as a senior consultant in the London offices of MTI Technologies. His home base is Seattle. He will be married in May 2007.
ERIC SHIELDS ('83) is a development
manager for T-Mobile USA. He resides in Puyallup, WA.
GARY SAWYER ('80) Works for the Property
Appraisers Office in Pinellas County, Florida as a cadastralist. I
have been there for several years. I also have my own business, Sawyer
Mapping and have published over thirty maps for clients over the past
20 years. I will be studying for my masters degree in GIS in Spring
05 and plan to specialize in the development of GIS data bases for
govermental agencies and business.
MICHAEL KOCH ('80) is a 23-year veteran
for the LA County Sheriff's Department as Bureau training coordinator
and Bureau terrorism liaison officer. He and his wife have three children.
