Humboldt State University Geology Field Camp
Camp for Summer 2009 (tentative dates are May 23th to July 8th) will be based in the beautiful Long Valley and White Mountains areas of Eastern California. The first two weeks will involve mapping Paleozoic rocks in the Poleta Folds area with Andre Lehre as the instructor. The second two weeks will involve mapping faulted glacial deposits in the June Lake/Sawmill Canyon areas of the Eastern Sierra. The third and final project involves mapping metamorphic rocks in the Benton Range. Please contact the Val Arizzi for information.
