Changes in the Course Syllabus: There are several changes in the course syllabus for Unit III, so please go online to check. In particular, please note that there is a new requirement for November 10th - a 58 minute online video on the"Doctrine of Discovery" at http://intercontinentalcry.org/native-america-discovered-and-conquered/ featuring Robert J. Miller, Associate Professor at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon and Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon. The information is quite compelling and provides much more information about the "Doctrine of Discovery" that we discussed in class in Unit I.
