The School Psychology Program at Humboldt State University is located in the Department of Psychology, in the College of Natural Resources & Sciences. We specialize in the training of rural school practitioners. Virtually 100% of recent graduates are employed, the majority in rural and semi-rural settings in California as well as in Oregon, Washington and Alaska. While most of our graduates are practicing as school psychologists, they also work in other positions of leadership such as superintendent, coordinator of special education, principal or counselor.
The program is fully approved as a specialist level program by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Click here for information regarding program admission, or contact Diane Hunt, Psychology Department Graduate Secretary at (707) 826-5264.
