Checklist
- Registration Fee ($10.00) and papers mailed by deadline, January 15, 2001.
- Project is no larger than 40 inches wide, 30 inches deep, and 6 feet high.
- Three copies (plus one for you) of written materials.
- Title page includes your title, your name(s), and division (Junior/Senior)
and category (Exhibit)
- Five hundred word description of the research methods used.
- Annotated bibliography, separated into primary and secondary sources.
- Project addresses the theme.
- Labels, captions, and titles include no more than 500 words. Title is
clear and visible.
- Has visual impact and shows interpretation.
- Be prepared to answer judges questions at the contest. (Remember that
formal narratives are not appropriate responses to the questions.)
Exhibit Requirements (size)
The overall size of your exhibit when displayed for judging must be no larger
than forty (40) inches wide, thirty (30) inches deep, and six (6) feet high.
This measurement does not include the table upon which the exhibit will stand.
However, any extra strands or devices used for each exhibit will be included
in the project's measurements. Below are diagrams to help with the aforementioned
design speculations.
