Interview Guidelines
- Find out exactly where the interview is.
- Have the name, phone number, and address of the person you are interviewing
with you.
- Arrive 10 minutes early.
- Bring your questions.
- Consider tape recording the interview.
- Jot down any key words or take quick notes if you are not taping the interview.
- Limit the interview to 20-30 minutes.
- At the end of the interview say thank you.
- Write out your annotated bibliography soon after the interview, while
the information is fresh.
- Thank any adult that helped transport you to your interview.
- Write a thank you note to the person you interviewed (be sure to get the
correct spelling of their name and address).
