Rates include the $30 activity fee and the $100 security deposit - Rates are for the academic year: August 18, 2009 - May 15, 2010.

Four meal plans are offered—Green, Gold, Humboldt and Mini. A detailed explanation of the dining plans can be found in the dining website under meal plans. A resident of Redwood, Sunset, Cypress or Canyon must purchase one of the full meal plans (Green, Gold or Humboldt). The table above lists the combined room and board price.

There are annual, semester, monthly or financial aid payment plans.

All Fall Housing + Dining Fees Should be Paid in Full. All residents on all payment plans must be paid in full for the fall semester in order to sign up for spring classes.

Last Day to Give Required 30 Days Notice to Vacate the Residence Halls at the End of the Fall Semester When Leaving HSU. Please stop by the Housing Office to complete a Request to Vacate Form if you are leaving HSU at the end of the fall semester. You are required to give 30 days notice to avoid penalties, and November 19 is 30 days before the end of the fall semester.

Licenses for 2010-2011 Available. Students interested in returning to the residence halls can apply for housing online at www.humboldt.edu/~housing. Licenses will be emailed to all students interested in returning to the halls. We have limited availability for housing for returning students. Information regarding the resign-up process will have been distributed in February.

All Spring Housing + Dining Fees Should be Paid in Full. All residents on all payment plans must be paid in full for the spring semester in order to sign up for fall classes or order transcripts. Students not paid in full by this date will not be able to return to the halls for 2010-2011.

Licenses and Initial Payments for 2010-2011 Due Today to Participate in New Room Selection Lottery. All residents interested in returning to the residence halls must return their license and initial payment by midnight on March 22, 2010 in order to participate in the lottery. In order to qualify for the lottery, residents also must have paid their 2009-2010 room and board fees in full by March 10 and be in good standing judicially.

New Room Selection Day . Residents participating in the lottery to return to the residence halls for 2010-2011 will have an assigned time to select their room for the next academic year from any available space. Room assignments and payment plans for the 2010-2011 academic year are then emailed to residents by the end of May.
