Mission Statement
We hope to provide the best of care to your student when they are away from you during those special moments or events. The care we would like to provide is sent through our care packages and the personalized messages from home. We hope through this process you can remain close to your student when they are away.
Ordering Process
It is preferred that a package is ordered 1-2 weeks in advance, but 48 hours is the shortest possible notice required for delivery. Contact the Care Packages office via phone or email, and provide the following information:

Please note that we do not deliver on weekends. For students whose birthdays fall on a Saturday or Sunday, consider ordering the package for either the Friday before or the following Monday.
Delivery Process
The student will receive a note in their mailbox a day in advance, informing them that there will be a suprise waiting to be picked up on the date of delivery. Instructions are given on how to pick up their package, and after 3pm on the day of delivery, they can go to the Housing Office on the second floor of the Jolly Giant Commons (across from the mail room) to pick it up. Students will also receive a phone call when their package is ready, as an extra reminder.
Packages will be available at the Housing Office until 5pm the day of delivery. If it has not been picked up by 5pm, it will be transferred downstairs to the Giants' Cupboard, where it can be picked up during business hours, for the student's convenience.
Holidays
The Care Packages office is closed during school holidays.
For the Fall 2009 semester, we will be closed during the following holidays:
Labor Day (September 7)
Veterans' Day (November 11)
Thanksgiving Break (November 20 to 29)
The last day to order for the Fall 2009 semester is December 9th, 2009, and the last package of the academic year will be delivered on December 11th, 2009. Care Packages will be closed during finals week and will not reopen until the first day of Spring 2010 semester.
