Some sites will connect you further with careers in which you show an interest and will list the different types of jobs found within that area.
Career Zone California - Reality Check
This site offers three options. The first allows you to choose how much money you will spend per month on your living expenses, car, food, rent... and calculates how much you will need to make per year to support that lifestyle. The second lets you choose a salary you would like to earn and shows jobs that will provide that income. The third allows you to select a career and it will tell you how much your salary will be in that career.
