[1] LD GE Area A: A1, 2, 3 and B3 must be completed with C- or higher and by 60 units earned
[2] One American Institution course will also count for LD GE Area D
[3] One course must include a lab
[4] Complete 2 DCG courses, (one must be domestic) with courses that also meet GE
[5] Consult with your major advisor
[6] This course satisfies GE and Major requirement
[7] Only one CWT course may be used in upper division GE
Major Notes:
[8] This four year plan assumes you are ready for calculus. To meet the calculus prerequisite take pre-calculus during your senior year in high school and pass the Math Placement Test, Part 3 that is offered at every Humboldt Orientation Program. Another method of satisfying the prerequisite for calculus is to earn a grade of C- or higher in a college course that is equivalent to Humboldt's Math 115. You can use http://www.assist.org to find the course or courses offered at California Community Colleges that are equivalent to HSU's Math 115
[9] Take one calculus series: MATH 105 & 205 or MATH 109 & 110 & 210. Consult major advisor
[10] Take one Physics series: PHYX 106 & 107 or PHYX 109 & 110 & 111. Consult major advisor
[11] Take either CHEM 328 or CHEM 321 & 322
[12] The number of UD Chemistry electives required depends on choice of UD Chemistry series. Must finish with a minimum of 24 UD Chemistry units. Consult with major advisor
