Major Notes:
[8] This four year plan assumes you are ready for calculus. To meet the calculus prerequisite take pre-calculus during your senior year in high school and pass the Math Placement Test, Part 3 that is offered at every Humboldt Orientation Program. Another method of satisfying the prerequisite for calculus is to earn a grade of C- or higher in a college course that is equivalent to Humboldt's MATH 115. You can use http://www.assist.org to find the course or courses offered at California Community Colleges that are equivalent to HSU's Math 115
[9] Take one calculus series: MATH 105 & 205 or MATH 109 & 110 & 210. Consult major advisor
[10] Take one Physics series: PHYX 106 & 107 or PHYX 109 & 110 & 111. Consult major advisor
