Assumptions:
- One Lower Division GE Area D Class also counts for American Institutions (HIST 110, HIST 111, PSCI 110, and others)
- One Lower Division GE Area C or D Class double counts as Diversity and Common Ground (RS 105, GEOG 105, ES 105, and others)
- Upper Division GE Area D Class double counts as Diversity and Common Ground (GEOG 300, NAS 306, and others)
- Allowable substitutions for RRS 306 are FISH 300 and WLDF 300
- General Botany or Biology required for Life Forms GE
- Fundamental Chemistry required for Physical Universe GE
- Calculus for Biological and Natural Resource Sciences required for Math Concepts GE
- FOR 350, FOR 450, and FOR 475 are generally offered every other year
Major Notes:
This four year plan assumes you are ready for calculus. To meet the calculus prerequisite, take pre-calculus during your senior year in high school and pass the Math Placement Test Part 3, that is offered at every Humboldt Orientation Program. Another method of satisfying the prerequisite for calculus is to earn a grade of C- or higher in a college course that is equivalent to Humboldt's Math 115. You can use this website to find course(s) that are equivalent to HSU's Math 115:
