Campus Community,
Linda Phillips has served Humboldt State University well for many years. I have especially appreciated her leadership in the last few years. We all wish Linda well in her retirement and hope that she stays in contact with us.
In the interim, we are pleased that Hillary Dashiell is serving as the Interim Registrar for Humboldt State University through June 30, 2005. Hillary, the Assistant Registrar at HSU during the past two years, has provided oversight of degree audits, evaluations and the Degree Audit Report for Students (DARS) project. Prior to coming to HSU, she worked for 10 years as the Executive Assistant to the Registrar/Assistant Vice President of Student Services at the University of Nevada, Reno. An official search will begin this spring, with a permanent Registrar anticipated to begin on July 1, 2005.
