Staff Appreciation Day

The President is interested in declaring a Staff Appreciation Day, possibly on May 5.

Tammy Curtis and Lynda Moore recommended that the reception be scheduled earlier in the day, (noon), so that staff members who work shifts may be included. President Richmond will prepare a message for campus, outlining the details and encouraging supervisors to make an extra effort to recognize the hard work of their staff. Human Resources has a resource library with ideas for expressing appreciation and Tammy offered her assistance, as well.

University Executive Committee Meetings – Format

It was suggested that information be shared in written form when possible, rather than taking the time to share it verbally. The status of pending agenda items was reviewed.
