Native American Scholarship – Academic Year 2009-2010

All students who self-identified as “American Indian or Alaska Native” on the CSU application for admission submitted to Humboldt State University will receive notification of available funds in connection with the Native American Scholarship Program. These annual notices usually are sent during the month of February and are mailed to the address on record. Eligibility criteria are listed below and are outlined on the application.

Eligibility:

  • All Native American students currently enrolled at HSU and all Native American students applying to HSU for Fall 2009.
  • All scholarship applicants must have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Must be an enrolled member or descendent of a tribal entity recognized and eligible for funding and services from the Bureau of Indian Affairs by virtue of their status as Indian tribes and must provide documentation as specified on the application.
