Denholtz, Teachscape Jonathan gave us an excellent introduction to Teachscape and invited everyone to get more details by trying out Teachscape on-line. Those who desire to do so can contact Jonathan at the e-mail listed. Teachscape is building an internet-based staff development for teachers. It uses a course format (courses can be modified some for local circumstances), uses video of BEST PRACTICES as the CORE of the courses, and uses recognized faculty to put together the courses. About 25 courses in various subjects have been completed. In English, Isabel Beck is doing a course on reading, organized, in part, around her questioning the Author LESSON DESIGN.
