Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native American in Science

The Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native American in Science, SACNAS, is a national professional organization created to promote the success of traditionally underrepresented groups in the sciences. HSU has recently chartered a SACNAS club, and students from HSU's Latino/a community and Native community attended the 2006 SACNAS National Conference in Tampa, Florida, October 26-29, 2006.

The 2007 SACNAS National Conference will be held in Kansas City, Missouri October 11 - October 14.  For more information, visit SACNAS on the web at:
