Website Setup

This website is powered by TikiWiki? a extensible Tiki package available at www.tikiwiki.org. The software runs on HSU's sorrel web server and uses a mysql account on HSU's www3 server for data storage. Both servers use the itl account. Passwords for these accounts are know by Ann Burroughs for any students who may need access. The www3 server was necessary due to the outdated version of MySQL on sorrel. There is no shell access to the www3 server available. Connects to the mysql server must be made through another server.

Several small modifications have been made to the TikiWiki? installation that must be noted before an upgrade of the software. The website's top right logo is located at ~itl/public_html/img/tiki/itl_logo.gif. The website's theme is located at ~itl/public_html/styles/HSU_style.css. Images for each of the wiki pages are located at ~itl/public_html/img/wiki_up. If you don't backup these directories/files the site will break. Don't break it.
