On-Campus using the HSU Wireless Network
HSU is creating a wireless network on campus. Using wireless technology allows HSU to more efficiently and economically provide wider access to network resources. By using the wireless network and other technologies, the user agrees to abide by campus Policies and Guidelines.

Using WebMail - Connect to the email server.
SSH Communications Software - You can connect to HSU servers from the labs using SSH for Macintosh and Windows.
On-Campus From Department Workstations
On individual department workstations, there are several methods used to connect to HSU servers. Options include using the Internet with WebMail to access emai. SSH Shell can be used to access servers. Faculty and staff should contact their area IT Consultant for software installations and instructions. You may also find instructions by accessing SSH Communications Software.

Off-Campus Using an Internet Service Provider
If you have an Internet Service Provider (ISP) account you will have access to your HSU server accounts and to the Internet from off-campus. Your ISP will provide you with browsers, software and dial-up numbers in their introductory packages or provide you with instructions for download from their web page.
