Forgotten User Name & Password Tools
For most major systems you use (such as: e-mail, Moodle, Lab Computers, Wireless, Account Center (formerly known as WebReg), and Student Center) you use your HSU User Name and Password for logging in. There is an automated way for you to recover these if you have forgotten them.
What are the Forgotten Login Tools?
Similar to the forgotten login information that you may have encountered if you use on-line banking or shopping services, these tools will ask you a set of questions to verify your identity before giving you access to your account information.
These questions come from a set of questions you can personalize or from information in your records.
You can access these tools 24x7!
How do I access these tools?
You’ll see links on most campus login pages that will take you directly to the tools. Look for “Forgot your User Name?” and “Forgot your Password?” links.

Personalized Questions
To make resetting your password even easier, you have the option to set your security questions ahead of time. If you ever forget your password, getting it reset is as simple as answering those questions. To set your securitry questions now, go to Account Center (formerly known as WebReg) > Account Tools > Identity Verification Questions
• If you use the Forgot Password tool and have not created your personalized questions, you will be prompted to do so before resetting your password.
Why did we create these tools?
Having to call someone to lookup your User Name or reset your password is a lot of hassle. With these tools you can do this yourself. This and other security enhancements, are driven by stronger data security standards for the entire CSU.
Where do I go if I have problems or need more information?
