Tech Guides :: Secure MeetingMaker

Secure MeetingMaker Client Setup Instructions

Before you begin, make sure you know your MeetingMaker login and password. If you don’t know it, call the Help Desk 707.826.HELP (4357) and have them look up your login and reset your password for you. Once you know your MeetingMaker login:

  1. Install the HSU SSL Certificate by following the download and installation instructions.
  2. Login to MeetingMaker. Under the File menu, select Sign out.
  3. At the login screen, click the Select button.
  4. In the top-left drop-down Protocol menu, change the choice from TCP to SSL.

  5. After a few moments the HSU_MeetingMaker server will appear in the window on the right. Click HSU_MeetingMaker and then click the Select button.
  6. Log back in to MeetingMaker.

Note: It’s very important that you login to MeetingMaker after changing your settings to make these changes permanent.
