Project

Please select a topic area, meet with others who have selected the same topic, and form a work team. Each team will meet with the professor to discuss the topic and ways in which to approach it. Further each team will meet together and with the professor for advice and assistance in conducting, analyzing, and summarizing the research. Prepare and present one five-page written report of the team's results and a one-page individual report on what you contributed personally to and gained from the team project. All written reports are due no later than November 13. On Tuesday, December 16, 1240-1430 each team will present a summary of its research to the class.

    Obtain permission from a religious body to conduct a short survey. With the professor's assistance construct questionnaire, administer it, and analyze the data with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).

  2. Download and Analyze Political Behavior of Religious and Secular Voters in an Election for Various Candidates or Issues

    Data are available online from a number of major surveys, including General Social Survey, National Election Study, Roper, and Field. Analyze data with SPSS.
