These perennials provide an abundance of fragrant flowers throughout the summer. Colors range from pastels (pinks and blues) to deep red and purples, as well as yellow, cream, and white. I have had petunias in all my gardens ... sometimes in borders, sometimes in hanging baskets. The smaller bush-types grow well in rock gardens. There are many varieties ... the large double-ruffled ones, the very-fragrant old-fashioned singles, the newer dwarf hybrids ... variegated or solid colors. The choices seem endless.
