This perennial is a good choice for garden borders or for cut flowers. Taller varieties provide vertical accents; dwarf varieties do well in rock gardens and containers. Seeds sown in late summer will produce flowers during early spring. Others will bloom throughout summer and autumn. I still pinch the sides of the flower to see the "dragon open its jaws," ... as I did years ago. My grand-daughter helped me plant these dwarf snapdragons in a planter box ... which makes them special.
