Jenny the Juggler AKA Miss Adventure

The Jenny the Juggler Variety Show is a full-on professional experience tailored to the specific audience for whom she is performing, and includes juggling, physical comedy, music and singing, magic, lots of audience participation, and loads of interactive silliness, and culminates in a Balloon Extravaganza with a balloon sculpture/toy for every child. Jenny crafts her show to those being entertained, of any age, and is happy to perform inside or outside, in a hall, a stage, a home, or a gym, and under any ceiling height!

Jenny is a highly trained and multi-skilled, full-time, charismatic professional performer with seven years of experience and a year of formal training at the Dell Arte School of Physical Theater in Blue Lake, California. She has a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and has studied with a number of world masters of physical theater including Marcel Marceau.

She has performed for hundreds of audiences of all ages domestically and internationally, on stage, on the street, and for corporate and private events, including many children's events. When the format includes face painting, Jenny’s artistry transforms children into breathtaking unicorns, puppies, tigers, princesses, aliens, or almost anything else a child requests. Her following amongst the younger set of greater Boston includes a number of children whose parents report their kids dress up like Jenny or sleep with Jenny’s card under their pillow, hoping she will come to their birthday party!

In her adult persona, Miss Adventure, Jenny performs professionally in venues such as Boston’s Fanueil Hall Marketplace, Baltimore’s Haborplace, Hawaii’s Belly Acres Entertainment Festival, holiday resorts in England, and in the art community of Humboldt, California, where she will headline as the featured stage performer in the “Women of Juggling” festival of May 2005.

Jenny got her start as a professional performer with “Food Play,” a national touring troupe for school children that provides nutrition education in an entertaining juggling-show format.

As a student, Jenny was an award-winning swimmer, basketball player, choral and solo singer, musical actor, and Collegiate Championship rower. Jenny grew up in Oakland, California, and Wayland, Massachusetts, and is now based in Boston.
