The team pulled the dolly around the football field while the software mapped the area covered, or “demined”, by the dolly.  This allowed testing of the mapping application.

The majority of testing at HSU was conducted at Redwood Bowl.  The Demining Dolly was pulled along the 50 yard line to test the accuracy of position and heading measurements using only GPS equipment. Results showed that position could be determined within an inch and heading within a degree.
