Sports Clubs – Cycling

Cycling is the newest club at Humboldt State University. They took the scene with several qualifiers for the national tournament and walked away as national champions in the women´s downhill division. The men are just as competitive.

There isn´t a more natural area for a cycling club than here at HSU. The team travels to several tournaments and are anticipating hosting a tournament here in Arcata. They are hoping to double in membership.

Competition Schedule

• During the Fall 2008 semester the biking team will focus on Mt. Bike racing in the local area.  Races to be attended will be discussed with team members.

Fall 2008 Practice Schedule:

• Tuesdays/Wednesdays 3:00 –6:00 p.m. off campus
• Thursdays 5:00–6:00 p.m. at Forbes Complex 148

Dues

• $40 for a jersey, pay your coach.
