Completion of the following courses satisfies the requirements for the minor in Health Education and permits the student to take the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) examination:

Required:

• HED 388 Health-Related Behavior Change (3)
• HED 390 Design & Implement Health Promotion Programs (3)
• HED 392 Community and Population Health (3)
• HED 495/499 Directed Field Experience/Directed Study (3)

Must take at least one from:

• HED 444 Wellness in the Workplace (2)
• HED 405 School Health Programs (3)
