Languages Other Than English
The Learning Center has many resources to help you through a Foreign Language course. The Tutorial Lab has tutors available for regular assistance while the Learning Skills Lab has student assistants that are available to help you brush up on your skills. Our Language Skills Specialist is available to work with ESL students. Other resources include the ESL web page, CDs, and books to target grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure.

We have many resources available for the biological and physical sciences. The Tutorial Lab and the Learning Skills Lab both provide assistance with specific areas of study. Staff are available for general science study strategies and we have word roots lists which are useful for learning scientific terminology. For specific help with scientific writing, we have writing assistance available, and the Writing Center also has writing consultants available to review your papers.
