Learning Center

Writing

The Learning Center provides free writing assistance on a drop-in or appointment basis during set hours throughout the semester. We strongly encourage students to make appointments in advance, as writing assistance hours fill up quickly. To make an appointment, contact the Learning Center at 826-5217.

The English Department also provides free writing assistance in the Writing Center (FH 234) on a drop-in or appointment basis. For a current schedule of hours, contact the English Department at 826-3758.

Students may also request ongoing, one-on-one tutoring outside of free drop-in hours for writing assistance at a low cost. To request a tutor, visit the Learning Center's Tutorial Lab.

Students do not need to be enrolled in an English class to receive writing assistance.
