C.M. Phillips is a former college English professor who specialized in creative writing, composition, and Native American literature.  After seven years of teaching, she now devotes herself to working on her own freelance writing and art career.  She has published several short stories and is currently finalizing three novels for future publication.  Phillips is also the Founder and Director of The Hobson Foundation, a non-profit group for writers, which financially aids writers who want to make a difference in the world using their minds and their pens.  
     
  Stephanie A. McKurtis is currently a student at Humboldt State University majoring in International Studies with a focus on globalization. She is fascinated by and interested in learning about the vast cultures of our world. She loves to travel and has traveled solo to Turkey and Bulgaria. India is a destination she is currently exploring. Throwing pottery is one of her passions as well as other artistic endeavors. She is devoted to her studies and plans to graduate in 2008.
