File Format
We prefer to receive files in PDF format. Please contact us if you plan to deliver a file that is not a PDF.
Accepted Media
You can copy your file to a disk and drop it off at our main desk or deliver it through campus mail. We accept the following formats:
- DVD
- CD
- USB "Thumb" Drive
- ZIP (128 & 256mb)
- 3.5" Floppy
Email Attachments
You can attach your file and email to marcom@humboldt.edu.
Marcom Server
For large files, you can connect to our server to access our Dropbox.
PC Users
1. Open a window.
2. At the top of the window are some pull-down menus. Select the pull-down menu, Tools
3. In the Tools pull-down menu select Map Network Drive
4. A window will open with two empty fields, Drive and Folder.
5. In the Drive field, select any letter below G
6. In the Folder field, enter \\137.150.51.126\marcomPublic
7. A log-in window will appear.
7. Please log-in as username:marcomGuest
7. Please log-in as password:marcomGuest
10. A window named marcomPublic will appear.
11. Inside that window is a folder dropbox. Drag your files into the dropbox. Due to security reasons, you can not open the dropbox and look at the contents. Sorry, it’s a security measure we must take.
Receiving Files from the Marcom Server
1. Follow the instructions above all the way to Step 10. A window named campus will appear.
2. In this case you are not looking for the folder dropbox. You are instead looking for the folder with your Department Name. You can open these folders and copy files from them to your computer.
Mac Users
1. Go to the Desktop
2. At the top of the Desktop are some pull-down menus. Select the pull-down menu, Go
3. In the Go menu select Connect to Server
4. A window will open with an empty field, Server Address.
5. In the field, Server Address, enter 137.150.51.126
6. A log-in window will appear.
7. Please log-in as username:marcomGuest
7. Please log-in as password:marcomGuest
8. If a window appears with asking to Select the volumes to mount
9. select marcomPublic
10. Click OK
11. An icon named campus will appear on your desktop

2. In this case you are not looking for the folder dropbox. You are instead looking for the folder with your Department Name. You can open these folders and copy files from them to your computer.
