Marine Science Summer Program

During the summer months, the HSU Marine Lab offers a series of workshops for kids of all ages to explore the ecosystems of the ocean and beach.

Classes last year included tide pool expeditions, investigations into California's famous kelp forests, a look at some of the craziest creatures in the sea and more. All classes include time outside, in nature, weather permitting.

Registration begins in May. Groups and individuals must sign up in advance! Contact the Marine Naturalist for details.

We look forward to your seeing you at the Humboldt State University Marine Laboratory!
