The third part of the Math Placement Exam (MPT) covers material necessary for entering calculus. A score of 15 out of 20 will allow the student to enroll in Math 109 or Math 105. If a student does not successfully pass this exam, he or she is encouraged to enroll in Math 115, Pre-Calculus. Below is a list of topics covered by this exam.
