The club meets most Tuesday, 2:30pm in Forestry 201.
We will not be having a meeting next Tuesday the 4th but instead will be celebrating the end of the semester with a "meeting" on Friday the 7th at 8:00 at Pete's Pizza on G street! Come hang out and eat pizza!

We voted on t-shirt designs submitted for the T-Shirt Design Contest. We recieved many wonderful submissions. Thank you to all who submitted ideas. Dale Oliver is looking for applicants for C++ Tutors, please contact him for more information. The Math Club is looking for new problems of the week. If you know any interesting projects, please email them or come to the meeting to share them.

We had our first Meet and Greet this week; the club spoke with Dr. Pete Goetz about his past research, interests, and what drew him to mathematics. Solutions presented for the Knights Tour problem from last week. We also discussed the State of Jefferson Mathematics Congress.

Brienne DeJong was voted new Vice President. Math t-shirt contest has started, and will run until Friday October 5th. There was a discussion of the upcoming State of Jefferson Mathematics Congress. A request was made for ideas for future "Problem of the Week" cartoons in the Lumber Jack. Past submissions have been done by Travis Bennett.
Problem of the Week: Can a knight move from one corner of a chess board to the opposite corner, stopping on each square of the board exactly once? Possible solutions will be discussed at our next meeting.
