Jamaica Research

I have an ongoing interest in the ecology of birds in Jamaica, where my dissertation research was focused. I am particularly fascinated by how migratory and non-migratory (resident) birds are distributed among natural and agricultural habitats, and how their populations are influenced by food supply. Understanding the distribution patterns of birds is important for conservation efforts, and it also offers insights into the ecological processes enabling migrant and resident birds to coexist with limited resources.
