Description: HSU students can earn 1 credit by participating in two fora that examine some key ethical issue in a public setting -- such as non-violence, terrorism, and war, and the concept and practice of democracy. Each forum runs for 1 hour and 20 minutes, with prior required readings, video viewings, and a brief writing assignment (approximately three pages). The forums will be recorded and televised. Questions will be taken from the on-site audience. A video collection will be kept in my office as resource and reference material.
