You can save past Chat sessions and use them the review later. In addition, you can download them to your computer. If you are done with a saved chat session, you can also completely delete them from the chat.

Saving Chat Sessions on the Server:

1. From you course page, click on the Chat you wish you modify.
2. Click on Update Chat.
3. You can choose whether or not to save chat sessions and for how long in the Save past sessions section by using the drop down box and choosing the length of time you wish for the chat sessions to be saved for.
4. You can also choose if everyone is privy to these saved chats by using the drop box next to the Everyone can view past sessions section and using the drop box to either select "yes" or "no".

Saving Chat Sessions on your Computer:

1. Once you have begun to record chat sessions, you can save them to your computer. From you course page, click on the Chat session you wish to save to your compter.
2. In the upper right hand corner, click on View past chat sessions.
3. You may see muliple chat sessions. Click on the link See this session for the chat session you wish to save to your computer.
4. Now that you can view the chat session, in your browser click on File, then Save Page As. A pop up window will appear. Choose where you would like the file saved and what to name it. Click Save. Remember where you saved it!

Removing a Saved Chat Session

1. From you course page, click on the Chat you wish you modify.
2. In the upper right hand corner, click on View past chat sessions.
3. You may see muliple chat sessions. Click on the link Delete this session for the chat session you wish to completely remove.
4. A message will appear "Are you sure you want to delete this session?" and if you do, click "Yes".
