Arab vs. Middle Eastern vs.
Muslim
The difference between an Arab, Middle-Eastern, and Muslim person has nothing to with their ethnicity, or what they look like.
It has something to do with the language, geography, and religion.
It’s a country whose official language is Arabic (see map of the Arab world).
For example, Arabic would be the 1st language taught in elementary school, and the language used to conduct interior governmental business…
It’s a country that’s geographically located in the Middle
East (see map of
the Middle East).
The Middle Eastern region is on the right side of the Red Sea, between Africa and the Far East.
It’s a country whose official religion is Islam (see map of the Islamic world).
In other words, the Koran would be somewhat integrated into the Constitution. Generally, the majority of the population of that country is Muslim.
For example, in Tunisia, 80% of the population is Muslim (5% Christian, 5% Jewish…).
