| Annika
Bäckström teaches voice at Humboldt State
University. Annika's academic background is rooted in music, theatre
and languages. She grew up in Sweden and studied voice at the Stockholm
Opera, Gothenburg's Opera Theatre and Malmo Stadsteater as well as with
many renowned teachers in Sweden and America. Annika received her BFA and wrote her own MA program through the music and theatre department at University of Illinois. Annika also has a degree in French Education from University of Gothenburg, and has taught French, German, Swedish as well as English as a Second Language in Sweden, France and the United States. Annika has performed in numerous plays, operas and concerts both in Europe and the United States. |
