Paul Cummings,
Assistant Professor, comes to HSU from the University of Oregon where
he is completing his Doctorate in Music Education. He holds a Master of
Music Degree in Music History from San Francisco State University and
a Bachelor of Music Education from the College-Conservatory of Music at
the University of Cincinnati. Paul was a public school music teacher for
23 years in Palo Alto, Campbell, and San Jose. In addition, he has served
as a lecturer and conductor at Cabrillo College, Canada College, Chapman
University and the UC Santa Cruz Extension. An accomplished conductor,
Paul will be conducting the band, teaching music education courses, and
supervising student teachers. He will also be coordinating the Music Education
program. |
