The music education option prepares undergraduates to enter the professional preparation program which leads to a music teaching credential.
An audition is required for entrance to the Music Education Option. Applications are available in the Music Office. See the Music Education Coordinator for more information.

Competency required in guitar. One ensemble must be in Jazz. Vocalists must take one instrumental ensemble. Instrumentalists must take one vocal ensemble.

*Voice Emphasis take Lyric Diction **406/407 for Upper Division
Music Education students must take Competency Exam to enter credential program.
