Careers in Music

Music graduates from HSU can look forward to careers as teachers, performers, composers, conductors, music therapists or related areas including music business, management, advertising, broadcasting, and music production, to name a few. HSU music graduates have gone on to further study at distinguished graduate schools including Hartt School of Music, University of North Texas and Ohio State University.

Businesses not involved in the music industry value music students for their discipline, creativity, public performance experience, critical thinking ability and collaboration skills.
