Natural Curiosity Boxes

Picture

These boxes are designed for teachers to bring a little of the Museum into their classroom. Boxes focus on one theme and contain various items including: videos, books, real objects, posters and activity and project ideas.

For example, our new Redwood Ecology box contains a build-a-redwood kit, redwood rounds, a redwood animal clue game, a redwood reference book, and instructions for other activities and lesson plans.

Topics include:

  1. Birds
  2. Early Humans
  3. Redwood Ecology - New!
  4. Insects - Coming soon!
Teachers may keep the boxes for up to two weeks.
To look at or reserve a Natural Curiosity Box call the Museum at 826-4479.
