Raptor Workshop for Ages 8 to 12

Instructor: Craig Turner
Saturday, April 26
1 - 4 p.m.
$15 members ($18 non-members)

Want to meet live birds-of-prey? Humboldt Wildlife Care Center’s American Kestrel, Great Horned Owl and Red Tail Hawk make a special visit to the museum allowing a close-up view of these magnificent birds. The workshop covers raptor biology, how to identify them and what their roles are in the environment. We’ll take a walk to a nearby park to look for raptors. Bring a snack and a drink and dress in layers.
