The Natural History Museum is located in Wells Fargo Hall at 1315 G Street in Arcata, California. Arcata is in Northern California, 300 miles north of San Francisco along Highway 101.

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Admission: $3 adults, $2 children and seniors, $10 for a family (consists of 2 adults and up to 4 children), free for members and HSU students with ID.

Groups may reserve a time to visit by calling the museum, (707) 826-4479. There is a fee of $25 per group.

About the Area

Humboldt County is the home of such notable sites as Redwood National Park and Humboldt State University. The Arcata Marsh and beaches of the Pacific Ocean are within a few short miles of the Museum.
