Samoa Bridge Boat Ramp
This boat ramp serves as a major starting point for many water-dependent recreational activities on the Bay. Seismic retrofitting on the Samoa Bridge will likely shift the boat ramp immediately westward (left in this slide) to accommodate the bridge's larger footprint. CalTrans anticipates construction to begin late 2002 and finish late 2004.
