Up the Elk River Slough
The Elk River sweeps east towards Highway 101 on the Refuge's southern boundry. Along the way the Elk passes under the Northwestern Pacific railroad bridge.
This slide is taken near the bridge, looking north-west towards the Elk's mouth, with the stand of trees on the Samoa Peninsula in the extreme background.
