Bottles & jars	Recycled, becomes new containers, road bed aggregate and fiberglass	Buy large sizes and reuse for other items
METAL
Aluminum cans and foil	Recycled, becomes new cans and foil, raingutters, and widow frames	Rinse and reuse foil
Tin, steel cans	Recycled, becomes new tin and steel products	Use fresh produce, meats, and fish as an alternative to canned
Appliances	Special collection, becomes scrap metal	Repair when possible
PAPER
Brown paper bags/cardboard	Recycled, becomes building materials, boxes, and other paper products. Can be COMPOSTED	Reuse bags and cardboard for other uses
Cardboard/cereal boxes	Recycled, become wood chips, boxes, and other paper products	Reuse if possible
Magazines	Recycled, becomes newprint, tissue, boxes, and other writing paper	Share a subscription with somebody, reuse for art projects.

Plastic bags	"Recycled", becomes deck furniture and railroad ties.	Reuse them and bring a reusable cloth bag to shop with.
