It was a long week here by myself…(sad day.)

I had a great break, but now chicken feet want me to throw up.
C. Secretary
I did a research paper and my keyboard’s ctrl buttons now don’t work. Argh.
D. Treasurer
BoF mtg this Friday at 7:30p.m. in Klamath. At our last one we had an envelope stuffing party. Half of BoF didn’t show up, but a bunch of people from Maple showed up and helped lick envelopes.
E. NCC
Went to PACURH, it was fun with business meetings that lasted all day. Everyone had fun! We dressed in bed sheets for roll call.
VII. Representative & Committee Reports
A. RPB (Janine proxies): HI! Clothing drive is happening from Dec.9th until the end of the semester. It’s going to be a contest, but we haven’t allocated money yet, because we want to be fair with how much food everyone can get. ResNews is up and running. Moonstone, 3:30p.m. on Fridays. If you’re interested in being cast or submitting a skit, go to the committee and check it out. We gave Creekview money for a pre-finals/end of semester dance. Check with Creekview for the dates.
B. ROBOT (Micaela proxies): Talked about what we could do as a program before the end of the semester, e.g. a “Childs’ Play” charity event or using the one free day that we get for the arcade/pool games. Also, Ravin and Alex (prez & last year’s prez, or Poobahs) got married.
C. ROCC: Expressions of Oppression went well! We had a good turnout, and food went quickly.
D. NAKED: Didn’t meet. We have a program this upcoming Sunday, a showing of “Sicko” in the bottom of the J. “Sicko” deals with problems with the American healthcare system. There will be a raffle at the end of the program to win a care package. Free food and discussion afterwards.
E. ResLife: The Friday before fall break, we put on a Reslife scavenger hunt for staff members. It was fun, there were cool prizes, and we ate leftover Chinese food.
F. NRHH: We did OTM nominations last time, and will be doing inductions tonight. Our induction ceremony/dinner is coming up.
G. Creekview: (Whose quarter sheets I always love to get ^^) Working on having a study place for finals week, a finals’ dance/rave thing with money we got from RPB. We played games.
H. Canyon (Nancy kind of proxies): I didn’t go to Canyon council. They had a bbq over the Veterans’ Day 3-day-weekend which went well, but there was a bunch of food leftover due to last-minute advertisement.
I. Hill: We had an ice cream social.
J. Cypress: We’re getting t-shirts…nothing aside from that.
K. Manor: (no quarter sheet received…I’m assuming it’s still standing)
L. AS : Janine’s still getting nagged about an AS appointment, but James is the one who’s supposed to write the appointment letter. He’ll do it soon.
M. UC Board of Directors: We’re meeting next week…and having a banquet in Windows’ Café. :D
N. Alcohol and other drug: Nancy didn’t go, but she has the minutes and volunteered to be the rep. People introduced themselves and their role on campus. Discussed ADAPT (the former name for AOD) and its purposes, and talked about conducting a survey of students regarding their ideas and use of alcohol and other drugs as a follow-up to one that was done a couple years ago. Also talked about the designated driver wristbands, and they now have new ones with the “option b” part included. Next mtg Friday, December 7th at 4p.m.
O. SHAC – nothing for either…
P. Rec Center - no mtg this semester; everyone’s schedule is poop (Janine)
Q. Dining Committee: Passed around a pamphlet Ron gave to me about the Eel River Organic Beef we’re now using. A Cupboard napkin board is going to be installed over Winter break. Dec.9th=end of semester buffet with Prime rib, etc. Discussed how the J is trying to have a neutral “winter” theme, to accommodate all religions. Trying to figure out how to get more people in there, because of how much we had at the Thanksgiving feast. December 10th is the pancake dinner. Get served free pancakes by staff! 8-10p.m. Also discussed Green Campus working with Dining on various energy-saving projects.
R. Publicists – Micaela: website’s done!! Happiness. The address for now is hsurha.blogspot.com and I’m wondering if councils would be getting their own authorship. In that case, a web training event would be needed. Missing description pages for Creekview, Cypress, Hill, Manor, NRHH, RHA, and ROCC.
Lynn: I now have stuff to do!! Making advertisements for World AIDS Day, 12/2/07 at 7p.m. with free food and the movie “It’s My Party.”
S. Advisor –Nick’s still looking for black dye. The room move fair is this week. (I also love his quarter-sheet. Nick=awesomeness. I’d give him black hairdye if I had it.)
VIII. Old Business
a. Movie for World AIDS Day
What did we want to do with it? What day? Food?
Do it on World AIDS day (this Saturday), bottom of the J, showing “It’s My Party.” James: 7pm-ish? Put a poster up on the third floor of the J. Popcorn? That’s been done before. Lynn: cheesecake? That would be done later that night. Janine suggests popcorn and some finger foods (cookies, brownies), water, chips&dip, crackers, cheese. James: can we collect donations? Nick: there’s a long process where we have to keep track of every single penny and everything…so James decides we won’t do donation stuff. Hopefully next time we’ll be able to get stuff together better. How much do we allocate for food? $75 is a good number (Janine: and it’s divisible by 5, which is nice.) Janine motions, Ryan seconds to approve 75 to be allocated for food. 8 in favor, 0 opposed, 3 abstaining.
This Saturday, 7pm, bottom of the J. Come support, yo.
IX. New Business
a. MTV thing (Jannah)
We were emailed by MTV, asking for stories about peer pressure for students between the ages of 16-25. Janine said she’d put it in the flush.
X. General Discussion
Riddle time! First Jannah shares one, then Janine gives the answer to Sarah’s one, then James shows one.
If your event was nominated for an OTM award and you have pictures, please send them to rha@humboldt.edu pleeeeeease 
Lynn: Did we win the PETA thing? Porchee: I think we won 2nd place. Nicole: go online and check.
XI. Announcements
XI. Adjournment
Ryan motions, Tiffanie seconds, Nancy thirds…?
Acclimation? Porchee and Lynn dissent, BOO.
9 in favor, 3 opposing, 1 abstention. Meeting adjourned.

VI. Executive Board Reports
A. President: canceled 1-o-1 to go see a Keynote Speaker.
B. Vice-President: is currently being distracted by Terri. Glad that HJGC is over, but glad it went so well.
C. Secretary: still haven’t heard from the manor and hill secretaries…schedules suck.
D. Treasurer: BoF is meeting this Friday at 7:30p.m. in Klamath, and didn’t meet last Friday because of NRAP. We have $3555 left in unallocated.
E. NCC: James, Janine, Calvin, Lynn, Nancy, Leticia, Adrienne, and I are going to PACURH this weekend.
VII. Representative & Committee Reports
A. RPB: Janine proxied. HJGC went down really well. The three djs who performed want to put on another dance before winter break. Ryan (Miroku), a scary clown girl, and Quailman won the costume contest. The best room went to the hill-so talk to the hill’s rpb rep about the ice cream social.
B. ROBOT: Ryan proxies. We didn’t meet last week because of the HJGC. We did our haunted infodesk for HJGC, which looked great.
C. ROCC: We didn’t really meet last week. Come to Expressions of Oppression Wednesday at 6pm in Klamath.
D. NAKED: We got our listserv up and running! Everyone who signed up for the NAKED Milers group is now part of it, talked about upcoming programs, planning on showing Sicko Sunday, December 2nd (cheesecake and a care package raffle) and hopefully trying to get someone from the Sociology dept. to talk, worked on health fair and constitution.
E. ResLife:This past week was NRAP, which 11 people went to altogether. Porchee, Lexi, and Alli presented the masturbation program twice and we placed 3rd in spirit. People attended different programs, such as icebreakers. We broke down on the way back Sunday, though. John’s van is still out there somewhere. 
F. NRHH: We worked on the “Safe and Sexy Halloween” and “Battle of the Brains” programs. Thanks to everyone who wrote OTM nominations (there are a lot). We’ll be voting on them tonight!
G. Creekview: Did Haunted JGC.
H. Canyon: Our Haunted JGC stuff went well, and “Silly String the LGAs” was a big hit. Bbq got pushed back.
I. Hill: Haunted JGC went so well that we won! We still need a ROBOT rep.
J. Cypress: We worked on Haunted JGC.
K. Manor: We’re getting 1 more washer & dryer, and have a massive ant problem.
L. AS: Not here…and not officially a rep.
M. UC Board of Directors: Our next meeting is this Thursday, right before Tunnel of Oppression.
N. Alcohol and other drug: meeting this Friday at 4 in the Health Center conference room on the second floor near CAPS. Tiffanie is interested in going to the meeting this Friday.
O. SHAC: hasn’t met. We’re supposed to have 2 SHAC reps (one for student health, which we don’t have. The other one is for sexual health, and Dottie was selected.)
P. Rec Center(Janine, as of last week): Emailed them her schedule. Everything TBA.
Q. Dining Committee-it was just Ron and Jannah last week. There was a great turnout on Halloween in the J for the costume contest. The Thanksgiving dinner night is scheduled for Monday, November 12th because it’s the week before break and there’s no school. There will be the big meal, then close really fast for opening the grill. The cupboard is working on price tags and possibly getting Bawls…if you know what it is, you’d be just as excited as me (Chaos ensued, then was regained shortly after). Still working on getting more local products, gave positive feedback on the Humboldt creamery products-especially the fudge bars. We’re sending someone to go to a natural/organic/healthy conference in Anaheim to make some connections. The Depot will be trying to get a new refrigerator unit over break so food can be pre-refrigerated for restocking. They’re going to follow-up with the napkin board for the cupboard, which might also be installed over break.
R. Publicist (Publici?) Lynn:I made flyers for NAKED. They’re purdy. (And Ryan loves her for it.) I will make a poster for the Campus Crusade’s Nov.7-9th tabling soon.
Micaela: was trying to ftp a new layout because the current one sucks, but need the password for the server. I’ll make a blogspot as a backup. Leti: Apparently, Nick and Patti have the folder of passwords, but are out until the end of the week.
S. Advisor (Nick is out of town until Wednesday. But Leti made a ¼ sheet, so she’s the bestest.): Tunnel of Oppression is this Thursday in the bottom of the J at 7pm, but you can go anytime between 7pm and 9:15/30. Tiffanie: I got an email saying I was a tour guide, but I have no idea what I’m supposed to do. Nancy: Michelle should be sending out an email. Good job on all the October activities, they’re doing awesome. I’d like to get on the NAKED listserv, if possible.
VIII. Old Business
a. Campus Crusade tabling request
Approved for November 7-9th during dinner. Janine: Do we have to clear it with Ron? Nancy: Only if you’re doing tabletop tents or powerpoint slides.
b. RHA Workshop day
Scheduled for January 26th. It’s a mandatory meeting for all exec boards.
c. NAKED for Mental Health Constitution – nothing.
d. Wellness Council Constitution -nothing.
e. AS Rep
Jason Robo called the office today saying that we NEEDED to send an official letter of
nomination for an AS rep. James will work on the letter.
IX. New Business
a. Movie for World AIDS Day?
Leticia: At our exec board meeting, we discussed showing a movie and having a
discussion for World AIDS Day. If we’re doing a movie, we need to order it now to get it in
time. Suggestions? Ian: Angels in America? It’s a long, 2-part movie based on a
book…may be too long. Lynn: Philadephia? Porchee: “It’s My Party”? Jannah is looking
the movies up on imdb.com as we speak, but Janine responds that we have to get the
movie from the list of movies that the company has to rent out.
X. General Discussion
Porchee: There was a marijuana confrontation during NRAP. It was funny.
XI. Announcements
Jannah: Kite Runner’s tomorrow. I’M GOING. Very excited. :D
Leticia: Go to Tunnel of Oppression and Expressions of Oppression.
Nicole: If you’re going to PACURH, be at the bottom of the J at no later than 7:50 am on Friday. Leticia: Remember, breakfast is NOT provided. We only have $15-20 per person on the way there and $15-20 on the way back.
XII. Adjournment
Ryan motions, Calvin seconds to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 6:54pm.
